Sha Sha Jones

Shaunice Lasha Jones a 20 year old rising star is better know as Sha Sha Jones. With support and nurturing from her single mother Sha Sha began her rise to stardom at the early age of 4. Her mother had the knowledge and foresight to support her love of performing and music by entering her in local events and by the age of 10 Sha Sha realized her talent for writing poetry and songs. Sha Sha had some early successes between the ages of 16 and 19 years old. She was awarded the Most Promising Artist Award in Las Vegas, won the KJ103 Jingle Jam contest and won the Special Grind Award for the Hip Hop Honors. Sha Sha has been privileged to collaborate with an impressive group of people that are contributing to her rise to the top. She was fortunate enough to work with Hamza Lee who produced the number one hit for Color Me Bad in 1991. He worked with Sha Sha to teach her the engineering technologies of Logic Pro9. With this knowledge Sha Sha was off and running; writing, creating, recording and uploading videos on You Tube. Before long she had 15,000 subscribers to her site, had been seen by millions of viewers and is now an internet sensation. Sha Sha moved from Oklahoma to Philadelphia after graduation to work full time on her career. While there Sha Sha worked with Vada Nobles on production, writing and singing on his tracks. With the tireless help of her management team Sha Sha has profoundly increased her musical development because of their efforts to expose her to the right people. To further her music career Sha Sha recently relocated to California where she continues to work with established producers and writers. She has been working with Ron Feemster Neffu, a two-time Granny Award Winner for song placement and recording. She joins other impressive stars like Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige and Michael Jackson that have also collaborated with Neffu. Nisan Stewart who has produced for Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, and Shawn Puffy Combs is also working with Sha Sha for song placement. She co-wrote a Christmas song with Nasri the owner of the production company Messengers and is writing and working with George Brown a member of Kool and the Gang. Wehelpjapan.org recently requested the use of Sha Sha’s song and video Calling on You about the Japan disaster to be used as their theme song. She and an A list of stars will be performing for Star Fest a fund raising organization at their event at the L.A. Convention Center. Sha Sha’s early experiences contributed to her decision to make the music business her life. Some of her experiences were to be requested by the family of Kanye West to sing at Kanye’s mother’s funeral. She sang at the Jamie Foxx’s Foxxhole Conga Room and opened for B2K and a number of other events. Sha Sha’s star is rising with her current collaborations. She is a multi-talented person. Sha Sha is a talented vocalist, lyricist, producer of songs and videos. She is a self starter, has a vision of success and is comfortable with who she is and where she is going.
