A full throttle force of unstoppable syncopated power bass grooves, face-punching guitar slaps, smashing drum patterns, and energized vocals encompass Ohio’s Scene Of The Crime (S.O.T.C.). Scene Of The Crime, forming in 2005, represents a new brand of hardcore with a well-experienced, talented five member lineup. Witnessing a live set proves the band’s capabilities. An incalculable range of heavy-melodic vocal clarity makes one believe that two lead vocalists reside in the solo chords of Anthony. Anthony works up the crowd by making the stage a battleground for motion. Dustin and Kyle communicate an even structured aggressive guitar effect by bouncing notes off each other, while Omar shreds the distinct thick pounding bass riffs. Stan powers a non-electronic drum machine with a mutually motivated connection. The origin of the band’s name was put in the hands of Anthony. The band derives it's name from the constant struggles of mankind. S.O.T.C performs all original music with transfixing lyrics alluding to horror films and the day-to-day struggles of life with profound symbolic imagery. The band writes and learns together through trial and error. The band stay true to themselves and it's way of creating their unique sound. Outside of music Omar jumps on a motorcycle while other members enjoy the solitude of a video game, watching zombie movies, or just kicking back and relaxing. The primary focus always resides in the band and their fans. The dedication brings the members together every week to practice and maintain their tight unit to blow it up on stage, performing a number of live shows each month. Packaging an original combo of metal with doses of perfected melody into one box requires a lot of postage, but these guys have managed to mail it out.
