At the start of his successful career as a DJ/producer, Roy Gates immediately had a Dancesmash on Radio 538. This debut single “How Deep” instantly had a high score on the hit lists and was on the play lists of many radio and tv/stations for weeks. With “On My Way” as a successor it rapidly became obvious that his musical development was unstoppable. “On My Way” was supported by top DJ´s like: Armin van Buuren, E-Craig, DJ Jean, DJ José and Randy Katana. “On my Way” was playlisted on TMF and Slam!FM for weeks. For the 3rd single "We Rock Together" Roy Gates started a cooperation with DJ/producer E-Craig who produced a remix for this single. At the same time this remix was responsible for putting Roy Gates on the map all over the world. In the charts “We Rock Together” scored high as well. The matching music video was shot in Poland where Roy frequently operates “The Wheels of Steel” in numerous leading clubs. “We Rock Together” was also playlisted on TMF and Slam!FM. The 4th Roy Gates´ track “Lose Myself” became a huge hit and brought Roy Gates for the first time in his life in “Top of the Pops”, TMF’s “Reaction” and at the Museumplein (On Queensday) with Radio 538. Besides many performances in his homeland and abroad, Roy spent many hours in the studios where he worked on many new productions. This all resulted in the new single “Midnight Sun”, which is the ultimate mix between Club Trance and Electro. Armin van Buuren already played the Divini & Warning Mix in his “A State of Trance” and Randy Katana, Ron van den Beuken, Jochen Miller, Sander van Doorn and DJ Jean also do support the track. “Midnight Sun” is also this week Granslam! at SLAM!FM. In the meantime all hit singles are to be found on more than a million compilation CD´s all over the world. The record couldn’t have had a better start.
