“One of the most talented artists of the 90’s“, is how Rodney Mannsfield is described by his many fans across the globe. Winning both Best Newcomer (Male) and Best Soul Album (Male) by Blues and Soul Magazine for his 1993 debut album “Love In A Serious Way”, (alongside the likes of Toni Braxton and Keith Washington), Rodney Mannsfield has established himself as a purist when it comes to true, honest, R&B/Soul singing with songs like “One More Time“, “Nothing Better Than Loving You“, and an amazing cover of Donny Hathaway‘s “A Song For You“. Rodney followed up the success of his debut album, with the 1996 release of his sophomore album entitled “Let’s Get It On”. Again, showcasing his rich vocals and strong singing style, Rodney also showed off his smooth, sensuality with the track “I Wanna Get It On”. Never one to disappoint, Rodney adds a sensuality to this track that is very sexy, without being raunchy. Other fan favorites from this album are the ballads “Are You Ever Coming Back To Me?”, “Nobody Else”, and “Let Me Know” a duet featuring Veronica Underwood. “A Long Road Home”, Rodney Mannsfield’s third CD , released in 2011 also promises not to disappoint. This album, with all songs written and produced by Rodney, shows fans his up-tempo/dance style. Known for being a balladeer, Rodney has given his fans some really hot dance tracks with “I Want Your Love”, “You Make Me Say Oh, Oh, Oh”, and “So Fine”. For those looking for the classic Rodney Mannsfield ballad, this album delivers those with the tracks “Marry Me”, and “I Hear Angels Sing”. The standouts on this album though, are the ballads “Come Back To Me”, where Rodney really gets to show off his amazing vocal prowess, “CTW”, where he takes us back to his sensual side, and “Guilty“ another hot dance track.
