Born on the 2nd of August in 1973, Reyn grew up in a village called Katwijk aan Zee situated at the coast of Holland. Reyn's musical career began with classical piano lessons at a young age. He later attended 'HAVO Voor Muziek en Dans' in Rotterdam, a school that specialised in music and ballet alongside conventional curricular schooling. At HAVO, Reyn studied piano and applied electronics (studio-engineering and synthesizer-programming). Around the same time (1988 to 1991), Ouwehand also composed video game chip music for the Commodore 64 and Amiga home computers. In 1995, Reyn founded Prevue Productions, his own company. He built his first studio and from then on in, his main focus was production work for record companies. Now in his third studio Reyn's national production work include famous Dutch acts like Kane, Ellen ten Damme, La Kidda, Sita, Birgit, Madigan, Silkstone, Handsome 3some and Wyatt. But he is also gaining territory in France, Belgium and Switzerland with acts like Benjamin Biolay, Stephan Eicher, Souad Massi, Indochine, Mayane Delem and Isabelle Boulay. Reyn has been working intensively on his first solo album which aims to be a display of the skills Reyn has mastered throughout the years and a collaboration with lots of musicians he has been working with for the last decade.
