Nashville based, New York born songwriter Reno Bo will be on tour throughout 2010 supporting his debut album “Happenings And Other Things,” which will see its official release on February 9, 2010. Before his recent move to Nashville, Bo spent the past several years on the road playing bass with fellow New Yorkers Albert Hammond Jr (The Strokes) and The Mooney Suzuki. "Happenings And Other Things" is a soulful blend of Beatles / Big Star rock with shades of Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin and Neil Young. The album features the songs "There's A Light," "I See Stars," "Baby You're Not Feelin' Me Tonight" and "Shake Me Up" - the latter track produced by Fountains Of Wayne main man Adam Schlesinger (“Stacy’s Mom”, “That Thing You Do”.) If you pause your DVD player quick enough, he can be spotted playing with The Mooney Suzuki in DreamWorks Pictures war satire “Tropic Thunder,” starring Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. Listen to "Happenings And Other Things" at www.renobo.com Read more on Last.fm.
