The musical career of pep gaya starts as a child when he discovered indie pop bands from england and alternative rock from the states. Besides his predilection for fragile melodies his great interest on percussion made him studied battery during 4 years complemented with muiscal theory and piano and later with a sound technician course I 1995 he meets Daniel Seix, Eduard Gilabert and Michel Guerra and created a band interested to explore the grunge sound. After some years and changes on the band where pep played the battery his music evolutionated to a noise pop very personal and new. His first contact with electronic music startes in 1996 and once he discovered sequencers he has has been exploring the most fragile and sonic electronica Late in 2001 along with robert lamart he gets involved in club bakomba, where he programs minimal house and techno sessions During 2002 he starts his first tour that made him play in eastern europe playing at different clubs and festivals with artists like richard turner, harvery lane or steve bicknell. He finish this year playing at groove parada in spain with all main techno artists from europe and spain In 2003 during a klitekture showcase at big bang festival in San Sebastián, pep showed his talent preparing a live set with his first laptop in a matter of weeks to play at this important festival with klitekture artist and other main artists like richie hawtin or carl cox.
