Blaine Fowler, aka “Oscillator Z” is an 18 year old music producer and DJ from Corpus Christi, Texas. Oscillator Z specializes in bass driven, heavy Dubstep, melodic, spine-twisting Drumstep, and smooth yet hard hitting Drum & Bass. Self taught, he started producing at the age of 13 and quickly found a passion for electronic music. With the internet release of his first heavy hitter, a dubstep remix of Far East Movement’s “Like A G6”, he was discovered by Underworld Entertainment, the largest EDM production crew in Texas. In order to further his career, he moved to Underworld's headquarters city, Houston, Texas where he now resides. Shortly thereafter, several of his tracks were signed by Underworld's partner, DJ Hardware's record label, Pure Records. Hardware even created a new subsidiary of his company, called Pure Dub specifically to highlight Oscillator's unique musical style. He also climbed up the bass music ladder with his Drumstep Remix of “Big Boss” by Doctor P. This smash hit gained the recognition of famous artists and performers such as Reid Speed and Dirty Talk who frequently played the track throughout many of their early 2011 shows. His rapid success led to his being signed by Play Me Records in 2011, and his first release under their label was his original Drumstep smasher “Long Live The New Flesh”.
