Oranssi Pazuzu

Oranssi Pazuzu (Finnish for "Orange Pazuzu" (= Assyrian/Babylonian deity)) is an experimental/psychedelic black metal band formed in 2007. The bands musical influences include Darkthrone, Electric Wizard, Circle, Satyricon, Burzum and even Pink Floyd. Their motto is “Oranssi Pazuzu makes music that lures all the arsonists and smokers to hold each others hands." Vocalist Jun-His (real name is Juho Vanhanen) is a former member of Finnish surrealistic rock band Kuolleet Intiaanit (2000 - 2007), and Oranssi Pazuzu is actually sometimes described as black metal version of Kuolleet Intiaanit. listen / buy Read more on Last.fm.
