Born in 1976, he has had classic music training: piano, music reading, horn, harmony, choral, instrumental set, Art history, Music history, and modern harmony. In 1997, he became the solo singer of “ Santiago y la Central de Música”, with his sisters Susana and Eva, making a national tour, that combines with appearances in regional televisions. He was trying to find a place in the music world, when, in 1999, he receives a great opportunity: to sing in M-Clan's album “Sin Enchufe” as chorus. Because of that, he starts a very solid collaboration that lasted more than 2 years, and it includes a lot of concerts all around the country, and the M-Clan's album “Defectos Personales”. At the same time, he was the solo singer of the very well famous orchestra Alacatraz with his sisters. But Momo's career has two changing points: one of them was when everybody put in their cell phones the Coca cola's commercial tune that Momo sang (¡¡Veo una vida nueva!!); and, specially and most important, when he got the main role of Galileo in the Queen We Will Rock You Musical, singing songs that were very familiar to him, because, in that time, he had already known the members of his band, that have a passion in common: Queen, that's why the band was specialized in Queen's versions, and took Momo to the musical's castings, where he was chosen by Brian May. After fulfilling his dream with Queen, he is in the musical Fame, along with his sister, it seems that it's impossible to separate these two talented siblings. After many years working and fighting in the hard music world, Momo has found a new band, and he has made his dream come true, releasing his first album: “Constante Contradicción” (Constant Contradiction), with Tarambana Espectáculos S.L. label, almost fully composed and produced by himself. For his debut, Momo has counted with the outstanding collaboration of Brian May, who, not only gave permission for the Spanish adaptation of "Too Much Love Will Kill You” (Tanto Amor No Es Bueno) that we can find in the album, but he also wanted to take part on it, recording a exclusive new solo for this song. Right now, Momo divides his professional life, between the musical Fame, and a tour all around the country, promoting and selling his album. www.momocortes.com Read more on Last.fm.
