Mike Tee aka Mnyalu comes from a long way, and started his career from earlier 1990s where he was sampling American Artists such as MC Hammer's and Vanilla Ice's songs before he later came to meet his friend Mcee Tony, who inspired him to write and rhyme in swahili language and succeeded to release his first album with his crew TDC, 'Je tutafika?' in 1998 at Don Bosco studios in Iringa. In 2001, Mike Tee released his first solo single 'Nyaluland' featuring Lady JayDee, then came the other single entitled 'Kama' featuring Jay Moe and eventually the track 'Nampenda nani' featuring Juma Nature in 2003. In late 2003, he released his first ever solo album, 'Sintobadilika which featured 8 tracks with the hitting single 'Sintobadilika', which was a nationwide hit and people's choice.
