Michael grew up in Munich Schuppach in a musical family. In the second half of the 90s he was a breakdancer and he was still owned by the Munich Department of Step 2 Diz. There he was spotted by a scout label and in 2001 he signed his first solo deal. Three years later he published at Sony Music under the name Mic, with his first album titled "Still Waters". "Someone" was the hit song which reached number 89 in the charts. He accompanied stars such as Carlos Santana and Erykah Badu as the opening act on their tours. During a six-month stay in the USA, he was elected in 2006 at a competition in Las Vegas for the International Act of the Year. After his return he decided to pursue a new direction. He parted company with Sony and began work on an album with songs in English. In addition, he changed his stage name to Mic Donet derived from the Latin Donatus , in reference to him in the cradle down singing talent. In 2008 he won the Moscow Timati organized international Soul/R & B Competition version 0.1. In the same year he also completed his album "Plenty of Love". The publication was delayed. 2011, he auditioned for the talent show "The Voice of Germany" . As part of the team to coach Xavier Rudd , he reached the semifinals. He and his running mate, Katja Friedenberg, managed as a single, bringing the two posts of the first two shows by sales of Internet music stores in the charts.
