Message to Venus is an alternative rock band from San Juan, Puerto Rico, formed in 2009. What series of events unites a few strangers to make music together? Is it a cosmic anomaly or destiny? Jandre Nadal, John Feliciano, Edgar Ramos and JuanMa Font gravitated towards each other because of a shared desire to create intoxicating and sublime music. Since 2009 this intricate sonic workshop has yielded blistering tracks with great depth, melding dreamlike sounds with unheard-of guitar strength, tight bass, high-energy drums and powerful melodic vocals. On March, 2010 Message to Venus released their first single titled "Cold & Grey" which was received with great reviews. * “Cold & Grey” is a dark and haunting rocker that will have you wishing the boys had an album out already so you could overdose on it immediately! A very talented group of writers and performers, this is one you’ll be hearing about in 2011, I’m sure of it." - Craig "Bam Bam" Stegall, Editor, http://Away-Team.com * "I checked out their Myspace page and was thoroughly impressed by the band's take on modern rock, but it wasn’t until I played their single “Cold & Grey” for the first time on one of my radio shows that I realized how fabulous Message To Venus really are; it literally left me covered in goose bumps and from that day forward I have been a hardcore fan of the band." - Brian Basher, Owner and Radio Host, http://HardRockNights.com Their follow up release on February, 2011 of their EP titled "The Envelope" has also been very well received. * "Their passionate guitar riffs and crisp vocals are clearly becoming the hallmark of Message to Venus. The Envelope is an exciting debut EP and will surely garner a sizable following for Message to Venus for their full-length album Victims & Villains." - Dandy, Editor, http://XRVvolume.com The Live Show The songs on the record are duplicated in a live setting, with the band drawing upon their collective performance skills in many venues including the legendary CBGB’s and sharing stages with bands like Anthrax, Ill Niño, Puya, Circo, Caramelos de Cianuro, Sol D'Menta and many more in nearly every Rock Fest in Puerto Rico for the past 10 years not to mention U.S. and Latin American tours.
