Melmac is the name of five different bands. 1. Melmac is a 6 peice punk/ska band based out of Staten Island, New York. They released their first album, 11:34, in 1999 and the follow-up EP, Still Waiting, in 2002. Melmac disbanded in 2004 and has since reunited to play a few scattered shows in the New York area. At the frontier of multiple influences, Melmac creates their own world between post-rock (Godspeed, Mogwai), electronica (Tarwater) and clever collages (Yann Tiersen, Pascal Comelade). 3. Melmac is a threepiece punk/hardcore band from Gothenburg. Started in the summer of 2006 when Pettson and tobbe started to talk about the old swedish d-beat hardcore and the same day they asked Sebbe if he wanna play the drums in the this rawpunk holocaust. Melmac is a rock band formed in Tallinn, Estonia in 2005. Since the beginning, Melmac has consisted of Margus Sikk, Magnus Andre, Lauri Tüür and Raul Ilvest.
