Matteo Scumaci is a solo artist from Lincoln England, best known for creating his recordings alone. Scumaci writes his songs, plays the instruments and produces the recording. His debut album "Electrical Lines", was recorded at home over a 3 year period while acting as primary carer for his mother. Electrical Lines is out now on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Emusic, Lala, Groupietunes. A musician of diverse interests, In 2008 Scumaci composed the original score for British film "CASS" (Optimum Releasing), and performed/co-produced the debut album of Mongolian folk-revivalists "Hanggai", drawing comparisons in the press with The Velvet Underground and Ennio Morricone. Introducing Hanggai, was the first record to establish the genre described as Chinagrass. Matteo Scumaci and co-producer Robin Haller, performed and produced the second Chinagrass record with Khazak grassland legend "Marmur", featuring contributions from the late, great, French composer Hector Zazou, and world renowned banjo virtuoso Bela Fleck..
