Mask of Judas are a female fronted metal/hardcore five piece from the south coast UK. Born from the ashes of predecessor Bikiniatol, their birth was christened by the release of their first self-titled demo in 2005. This also marked the addition of guitarist Nathan, and new vocalist Jo. With 15 songs (up to an hour and a half of material) they range between hard thrash and acoustic from their complex metal base: “Our music is our passion and through it we aim to express intense emotion and hard-hitting social, political and personal messages. With the addition of new bassist Andy, we are even stronger and more motivated to be able to progress and grow…” During their 2 year existence they’ve been relentlessly strengthening and extending their fan-base through headlining at numerous venues around the south and London (Portsmouth, Brighton, Southampton, Guildford, Horsham, London, etc.) This included playing outdoor festival Mattstock, and the opening of HBJ Metal Night at major London club ‘Mass’ with Interlock (Anticulture). Their brand new second demo “Neglected Reflections” was recorded and produced by Sam Bell, who has worked with U2, Richard Ashcroft, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol and Editors. Since releasing their new demo, they have also received regular exposure on several radio shows and online pod-casts including Pulse Rated radio on pulserated.com, Total Rock Radio (www.totalrock.com) CROC pod-cast, Canada.
