Mark Campbell

The MARK CAMPBELL band has a unique blend of chilled out storytelling songs complimented by a rock guitar based band. It is great listening music and when you leave his gig you feel like you were at a Jazz, blues and rock concert rolled into one. Mark Campbell is a multi talented singer-songwriter who hails from the east coast of South Africa. Performing in front of ever-increasing audiences at some of the biggest venues on the London music scene, Mark is beginning to hit his straps as an artist. The Mark Campbell Band (S’Africa and Great Britain) SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE "BLUE-EYED SOUL SINGER" MARK CAMPBELL OF NEW ORLEANS AND LOS ANGELES, THE LONG-TIME LEAD SINGER FOR JACK MACK AND THE HEART ATTACK, as well as the Texas/Louisiana Swamp Funk band Cordray, Robinson, and Campbell. The great soul band Jack Mack - "The Hardest Working Band in Soul Business" - is the former Late Show Band, has appeared at many major events and concerts world-wide, can be heard (and often seen) in many movies (such as Tuff Turf and Police Academy, among others), and has many albums and CDs to its credit. Jack Mack’s Mark Campbell is also a prolific solo performer and voice artist - a 40-plus year veteran of song. Among numerous movie songs, Jack Mack’s Mark Campbell is the voice of Michael J. Fox in "Johnny B. Goode" in Back to the Future, the singer in William’s and Conti’s "All Roads Lead to You," the singer of "Cruella DeVille" from 102 Dalmations, and Drive Angry’s final credits “Alive (Last Ride to Hell)” by Meatloaf. Jack Mack's Mark Campbell is also the singer and co-writer (with guitarist Andrew Kastner and sax man Billy Bergman) of some all-time favorite party-soul tunes such as “Soul Man,” the singer of three tunes on the delightful Blues Album honoring Bugs Henderson - "Nobody Owns the Blues," "Shocked, Stunned and Bewildered," and "(When You) Love Somebody." He is also the singing and narrating voice in thousands of National TV Commercials, television shows, movie songs, cartoons, and lead and back-up vocals for many well-known bands and albums.
