Have U seen this tall and gorgeous looking young lady , with a melancholic and angelic voice hitting a million of views in the Youtube® universe? Turns out she is a song writing Songstress that is not afraid of mixing all the influences that cross her way. Márcia , daughter of Cape-Verdean immigrants and a Lisbon native , was raised in Germany. Soon she discovered her affinity of composing harmonic melodies being inspired by singers like Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill & Co. She took every chance possible humming all songs that came into her ear. Years later the determined spirit began singing in choirs and bands. As a consequence she also tried any kind of music style from Pop to Rock and from Jazz to R´n´B. Despite the experimental and inspiring musical journey and all the postive experiences she made along the way, she soon found herself in R'n'B and Soul again. In 2003 she started recording her first Soul album with German producers, where most of the compositions where done by herself . Unfortunately this album has never been released. After releasing her Debut Zouk Album , named after her, in 2006, which had an incredible widespread positive recognition within the Zouk community. She toured throughout Europe, French and Portuguese speaking Countires and the USA. One year later she left her old lable and destiny crossed her way with a potentious rising lable called Klasszik . This time the preparation of her LP took almost 2 years. The chemistry and the creativity of both, the Songstress and her Producer Nellson Klasszik , took Zouk to a whole new and different level : KLasszouk !! A distinguisched Mix that includes various influeneces such as Zouk, Kizomba and R´n´B. Besides the innovational music style the album includes latin american flavours with slight touches of traditional cape-verdean music.
