Bristol based Alt Rock band Maps and Legends met in October 2009 at the University of the West of England, just a few weeks after the start of their first year there. Since then they have gigged around Bristol and competed in various local competitions such as the UWE Battle of the Bands with the final held at the Thekla in Bristol, which Maps and Legends went on to win, and the Surface Unsigned Competition Bristol Region playing at some of Bristol's best venues. Maps and Legends have an eclectic mix of influences ranging from Elbow to Porcupine Tree and use all their influences to produce a different kind of Alt Rock. Read more on Last.fm.
