Mainstreet of Sweden is a swedish rock band (former known as "Mainstreet") The bands current state is four members, because Jonas Gallneby and John Mörlid recently left the band. The band comes from the swedish town Jönköping, and has been playing since 2001. During 2005 Mainstreet got in contact with the record label Talking Music and were able to get signed and release their self titled first album. It came out in May 2005, followed by "Love & Play", 2006. From having done the first one with live sessions in a studio, they did the new album recording at different locations in Sweden and the UK. The result is an album with the characteristic energy of Mainstreet combined with a more structured sound. Mainstreet members are: Jonas Sandwall (lead vocals, guitars), Erik Mjörnell (lead guitars, back vocals), Olof Gardenstrand (drums) & Johannes Raymondson (bass).
