Young Dutch house producers are at the forefront of becoming the world's music-pushers. One of the biggest promises for 2009 is Magnesia, an effective collab between Bart van der Meer and composer Michiel Jenner. Bart has been responsible for some of the biggest clubtracks of 2008, whereas Michiel has been active in compositions for film and artprojects. The collaboration also includes coproduction by songwriters Tim van Doorn and Sanne Hans, who already made it to the top of the Dutch charts Described best as spherical, poppy house music, Magnesia is aiming for arena's, radio, centre stages, TV and iPods. Preparations are made for live performances, an album and several projects are ready to hit the airwaves and clubheads in early 2009. Bart's experience in effective nasty house music gives Michiel's harmonic and at times sensitive melodies the edge to attract attention from Tiesto, Steve Angello, David Guetta and Bob Sinclar to Matt Darey, Sander van Doorn etc. "Today" has just been released through Magnetize Music and is available through all digital download stores now!
