Los Brincos was one of most popular band in '60s Spain.They were formed in mid 64 in Madrid. Juan Pardo (guitar vocals) Fernando Arbex (drums vocals) Antonio "Junior"Morales (guitar vocals) Manolo Gonzalez (bass) Soon after they contracted with Zafiro Records, the record compay released their record on the new sub label called Novola.In Nov '64 they debuted with a LP and two EPs and 2 singles. Some songs they sung in English and another in Spanish.One of those singles,"Flamenco" got to Number one in Spain in early 1965. It was fab spanish flamenco rock.They did more Top one hits like "Borracho" and "Tu Me Dijiste Adios".Their second album, called 'Los Brincos' was released in a box with a 12 page colour booklet. In late 1966, Juan & Junior left the band to pursue a career as a pop duo. Fernando and Manolo soldiered on and recruited Vicente and Ricky for the new Brincos. With a heavier pop sound, they kept releasing good singles in 1967. In 1968, they somewhat mellowed their sound. After releasing 3 more albums, they disbanded in the early 70's. Read more on Last.fm.
