Long Hind Legs

Formed in Olympia, Washington, United States, Long Hind Legs does to the darker end of seventies and eighties synthpop what Magnetic Fields does to the lighter side, both offer a modern, stylized, and more unconventional take on the same general vein of music. Drawing from the cold atmospheres of Joy Division, early New Order (particularly Movement), and even David Bowie's collaborations with Brian Eno. At their best, Long Hind Legs conjure up images of some obscurely experimental German project which could have existed in the early eighties; even at their worst, they offer something entirely new to this musical genre.
