1# Progressive House Artist. 2# A melodic/progressive death metal band from Portland, Oregon. Influenced by Death Metal, Grindcore, Thrash Metal, and Melodic Metal. They occasionally incorporate Blues, Rock, Jazz and Classical themes into thier music. Created in Febuary of 2006 by guitarist/vocalist David Johnson. Anthony Nguyen was soon recruted for bass. Loch was created after the demise of Trioxin Overdose, a death metal band in which David and Anthony took part in. Loch is an "envirometal" band, a term they have created to describe their music. Loch has recently found a drummer, Kyle Kesson. Now that Loch has a full line-up, they have recorded their Demo titled "Veggies, Peace, and Metal" and have begun playing shows locally.
