LESHAK - this is ancient spirit of avital mystery of pagan Russia. The project put down roots in cold winter of 2006. The interest in mythology and dark sides of Slavonic culture enabled me(Redgoat) to create this band whose musical part is full of Slavonic melodies, which are closely intertwined with wild riffs of thrash metal as a basis. Musicians for the first band's staff were found quickly. The performance in one of the metal fest was the result of one-year's rehearsals. In September,2007 our drummer left band, but it didn't have action upon the beggining of recording our single in Moscow "Buddha Cat Studio". Soundman and our producer was Mikhail MAIDEN Smirnov. The recording of single were end up in December and March, 2008. We made efforts to release our single which has been drawn in number of 50. During 2008 we'd been preparing ourselves for recording the first CD. Lots of experience we'd endured, but we've done it and now we are waiting for our printed CDs. The work at CD was in BlackLight Studio in Kiev(Ukraine), which would been in January, 2009. We met incredible people and we done big deal. Soundmaker was Shaddar - the genius of sound, who created astounding soundcore of our music. When we arrived home, we took up the publishing of CD and we found Russian label, which suggested to sign a contract with us. The label's called Stygan Cript. prod. Surely, our member staff has changed. We accepted flutist Ann, whose sounds make atmosphere of music more natural and abundant. Now Venceremos plays in Leshak as a session drummer, so we are looking for the permanent and will be glad if drummer takes up the call. Our story is forming our music... Our music creates our life. We hope that you are filled the music of Leshak. Horns up, folk! Now our staff is Redgoat - guitars, Yzh (session) - bass..back vocals, Sergey Frontline - vocals, Zuks - flute and Venceremos - session drums. Read more on Last.fm.
