KROK was created in spring, 2001. But the real birthday of the band was their first performance at the selection concert for Basovishcha 2002 where they played 3 own songs. The musical conception of the band wasnt formed in a day, it is still on the way of it's development. It is influenced by many factors, including the age of the musicians who were only 15-16 years old in 2002. The staff of the group has been changing as well. The only permanent members who were in the band from the very beginning are the guitarist Edward and the vocalist Romicz. All the songs are written in the Belarusian language only. During its existence on the stages of Minsk clubs the band has played a great number of concerts including numerous warming-ups of the famous Belarusian groups ( N.R.M., Nejro Dubel, Garadzkija, Kukly) and various alternative club parties. There were concerts in other towns as well. In spring 2006 West Records label released their first album that had the same name - KROK. The video for the song Raj was produced at that time and is in rotation in Belarusian blocks on MTV. In summer 2006 the band took part in the contest of young groups in Basovishcha 2006.
