A man with an open ear for what the people want, Krames is a DJ who knows how to rock the party. Having a mother who passed up a record deal as a singer/songwriter in Nashville, music has always been a part of his life. Growing up in Virginia Beach, Krames became involved with music by playing bass guitar in bands from the local hardcore punk rock scene. After high school, he left to attend college at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. There he met friends who owned a pair of 1200s and while sitting around the dorm room, he taught himself how to mix and scratch. Eventually, he bought his own pair of turntables and has never looked back. Krames was soon to be found DJing at various nightclubs and house parties every weekend. Working his way around town with mixtapes like the classic "Keep it Dirty", he hooked up with Slow Education magazine, who tapped him for residency at their monthly dance parties. Later, he was asked to join Richmatic, the longest running hip-hop night in Richmond. This led to a weekly radio show he hosted Friday night on Richmond's first independent radio station, WRIR. Krames quickly became one of the hottest DJs in the 804 area, often partnering at parties with Bobby La Beat. Recently, he paired up with long-time friend Nick Martin to bring mayhem to the dancefloor through Cobra Kai, a monthly dance party where he's spun alongside the likes of Tittsworth, the Baltimore Bass Connection, Dave Nada, Certified Bananas and Nick Catchdubs. Armed with his 303 and an arsenal of your favorite parking lot anthems, there is no booty Krames can't shake. Read more on Last.fm.
