By the end of 2009 Kitschcraft (Ozum Ozgulgen -aka Joel Knox-, Gokhan Kantar) released 4 EPs The Girls In Their Summer Dresses (2002) Waking Up The Leopard (2007) In Your Face (2008) Feminine Is Beautiful (2009) with an elaborate synthpop sound. They played in various venues, (360Istanbul, Indigo, The Hall, Suada, Ghetto, Muamma) performed in special parties/festivals, (One Love Festival, Fashion TV 360 Istanbul Christmas Party, IAF.3 International Animation Festival Party, The 10th International İstanbul Biennial Triangle Project, Madchester - Viva la Haçienda) and gained a devoted fan base. In 2008, they appeared in Electro-trip Vol.1 album which compiled by Rolling Stone Turkey magazine and Electrip Records. The band selected to perform a warm-up show in Depeche Mode's Tour Of The Universe on May 14th 2009, in Istanbul. Kitschcraft calls what they do an inspirational formation that blends both significant values and popular culture in the most eloquent way.
