1. John Schneider (born 1950) is a classical guitarist. He is best known for his portrayal of Bo Duke in the 1980s American television series The Dukes of Hazzard. Alongside his acting career, Schneider performed as a country music singer in the 1980s, releasing nine studio albums and a greatest hits package, as well as eighteen singles. These included a cover of Elvis' hit "It's Now or Never" which reached No 4 in the Country charts and No 14 in the US pop charts in 1981. This kicked off a Country Music career which produced a string of Country chart hits up to 1987, including "I've Been Around Long Enough to Know" (No. 1, 1984), "Country Girls" (No. 1, 1985), "What's A Memory Like You (Doing in a Love Like This")" and "You're the Last Thing I Needed Tonight" (both No. 1, 1986) , "At the Sound of the Tone" (No. 5, 1986) and "Love You Ain't Seen The Last of Me" (No. 6, 1987). Despite this success he gave up his Country recording career in 1987 (or it gave him up), his last album being entitled, ironically, "You Ain't Seen the Last of Me" which was followed by a Greatest Hits collection which got to No. 22 in the Country album charts. His acting career continued throughout and he has recently been seen in three episodes of the US TV series "Dirty Sexy Money" in 2009 2. John Schneider (born 1950) is a classical guitarist.
