Jesse Spencer

Jesse Spencer is an actor (and sometime singer) who was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. He gained notability playing the role of Billy Kennedy in the Australian daytime soap opera Neighbours in which he was a regular from 1994 until he left to pursue other roles in 2000. Jesse has had a few film roles since branching out from his Neighbours roots most notably 'Swimming Upstream' and 'Uptown Girls' opposite Brittany Murphy, in the last of which he played a struggling singer. However musical roles in films aside, unlike many of the past cast members of Neighbours, he has chosen not to pursue a music career and instead focus on his acting career. Jesse has recently found success starring in the role of Dr. Robert Chase in the hit US medical drama 'House MD' . He also plays the fiddle in the all-star charity band, "Band from TV", alongside Hugh Laurie from the same show. Read more on Last.fm.
