Jean-Pierre Decerf

French (or perhaps Belgian??) composer, who seems to have preferred collaborating with people, as his library albums are often confusingly credited to numerous people (he also used the alias William Gum-Boot on a few releases), though most often he gets top billing as composer/arranger/producer. It's often difficult to discern if a particular album should be considered "various artists" or just named for each contributing player. Ah, such is the great mystery when dealing with this music. However, part of that scattered confusion actually sort of adds to the appeal, giving you the feeling that things are yet to be resolved. Read more on Last.fm.
