An extraordinary response is usually commonplace when encountering the dynamic talents of singer/songwriter, actor, and producer Jáven. Growing up as the son of a preacher, Jáven knows what it means to be affected by another's ability to communicate. Whether through song or the spoken word, it becomes quickly evident to those who are affected by his performances. Brazil, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Europe are some of the international countries where Javen has performed. He has been featured with well-known personalities like Vickie Winans, Kirk Franklin, Jerry Lewis, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Diane Canon, Reba McIntire, Bill Gaither, Zig Zigler, and others. Now based in LA, Jáven currently balances a busy touring schedule as a solo artist, actor and guest speaker appearing in the largest arenas and concert halls in cities like New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago, and more. In 2001 Javen founded a youth outreach program called FYI an acronym for Focus on Young Individuals. FYI impacts thousands of young people in the Tampa-bay area through life changing counseling, tutoring, open mic forums, street meetings, and events supporting charities of all kind. In 2003 he released his first independent worship CD Change on his production label JCM. In 2009, JAVEN released the "Keeping the Faith" CD, which includes both passionate ballads as well as household favorites the hit single, "None Like You," which received award nominations such as Best Contemporary Video from GMC and a Dove Award nomination. This dynamic CD features the talents of Recording Artist Israel Houghton, Gospel Recording Artist Deitrick Haddon, Recording Artist Damita Haddon, and industry favorite, Peter Mokran. This multi-talented recording artist was once a full-time worship leader at a mega-church for many years.
