Jacques Lejeune (born 1940, Talence) is a French composer, whose production works consist mainly in the field of electroacoustic music. He studied with Daniel Lesur, Pierre Schaeffer, and François Bayle. Since 1968, he has been part of the Group of Music Research (GRM), where he is responsible for the "cell of music for the image" (Further translation needed for: "cellule de musique pour l'image"). He has been teaching electroacoustic music with the ADAC/Ville of Paris since 1978. In 1994, he founded "Paysaginaire", which promotes electroacoustic creation, and the "First Contest d' Interpretation of Concrète Music" in 1996. Read more on Last.fm.
