His first solo album, "A Sétima Efervescência" (The Seventh Effervescence, 1997), is centered in the manner of "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", Pink Floyd's psychedelia, the sound of the Mod movement of the late 60's and more. After experiencing great success with the release of this disc, Júpiter Maçã becomes Jupiter Apple, composed in English, and decides to mix bossa nova and avant-garde sound. Many fans did not understand it, preferring the more accessible psychedelia of "The Seventh Effervescence". This unusual mix is very well done on your second album, "Plastic Soda" (1999). In 2002 he released "Hisscivilization", Apple's more ambitious (and perhaps misunderstood) record to date. Electronic lengthy trials, electrical and lumpy lounge, waltz, sitars and moogs, condensed into moments, sometimes lightly, sometimes paranoia. The reaction caused by the two-stage Apple discs are even more dramatic . In 2006 it was hoped the "A Tarde Na Fruteira" (A Afternoon In The Fruit Bowl) album's release. On this record, "Apple" turns back to "Maçã", but continues to explore the Brazilian experimental side, with songs already immortalized in the subconscious of the underground.
