There are 8 bands named Hindsight. 1) In September 2007, 3 friends from Bradford, UK who had previously been in past projects together decided to create something new, away from the constant stream of bands attempting the same things.. (Indie/Hardcore/Metal etc) therefore Hindsight was brought together... Callum Blanchfield (Guitar) Scott Hymas (Drums) and Paul Waite (Bass/Vocals) spent the back end of 2007 recording ideas and putting together the best set as possible with the aim of gigging throughout 2008... Since then Hindsight has only grown stronger, recruiting keyboard/synth player James Bumby. Now they have expanded their setlist, have had photoshoots and booked countless amounts of gigs from February 27th onwards... Their recent EP (Silent Decline) was recorded and released at The Mannville Arms in Bradford on the 10th May MySpace www.myspace.com/hindsightbanduk 2) Alternative Hard Rock/Metal band from Houston, USA. Hind§ight’s music is focused on the life experiences of each of the band members. So, if you are at a Hind§ight concert, feel free to ask them about some of the stories behind the songs. If you are looking for disingenuous Disney pop music written by industry song writers for pop singers who need auto-tune just to get out of bed in the morning, this is not your band and may god have mercey on your soul. If you want some rock music that you can jam to and relate to in your daily life come and rock out with us. http://www.reverbnation.com/hindsightrock 3) Hindsight is the collaboration of guitarist/musician/vocalist Rick Whitehouse of Madison, Wisconsin and lyricist/producer Russ Johnson from Lexington, N.C. They met on an internet message board about shortwave radio several years ago and began working on song ideas over the 'net. Everything is done by exchanging files and ideas by email and instant messages. Their musical work of this virtual band is so "virtual" that they have never met each other in person. 4) Post-hardcore quintet Hindsight originally formed as Uncle Skunk in the mid-90's, playing its first show in an overheated northern New Jersey garage with AFI, Heckle, & Plan-A-Project. From these garage-punk roots, Hindsight has been constantly evolving & refining its sound over the years drawing upon the diverse musical influences of its members. Their latest recording, the 4-song EP entitled "A New Beginning," has just been independantly released. Hindsight broke up in September 2004. Members have gone on to form End of October & Painted Faith. 5) Melodic hardcore band in the late 90s from Sydney, Australia. Released 2 eps, toured Australia and broke up. Members moved on to other projects. 6) Sounds like whatever you want it to sound like ... or a cream-filled pie of Rock ... that works too. Based out of Appleton, Wisconsin, with bass - Ryan "dr" Goes, percussion/synthesizer - Todd Hellman, lead guitar - Daniel Schafelke, guitar - Keith Swanson, and Micheal Wendland for vocals. Recently released cd "My World" in April of 2008. More info can be found at http://www.myspace.com/hindsightwi or hindsightworld.com 7) Hindsight was a short-lived british funk / soul band, founded by singer, songwriter and bassist Camelle Hinds in 1986. The band is probably best known for the 1986 electro-funk single "Small Change". Disbanded in 1987. 8) Hindsight is a melodic hardcore band lead by the enigmatic front man Tyler Baker, formerly of The Vanity Farewell. The rest of the band was filled by Nick Kinsley on guitar, Judson Branham on drums, John Preston on bass, and Chris Neu on the other guitar. Forming in early 2009, the 5 piece brings different influences from death metal to acoustic indie style. The band brings a style similar to that of The Carrier, More Than Life, and Carpathian to create a unique blend coming from the home of the Big House, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Read more on Last.fm.
