Hersiana Matmuja, known professionally as Hersi, born in 1990 in Kukës, is a young talented Albanian singer. She finished her high school for canto at the popular national art school 'Jordan Misja' in Tirana. She continued her studies for canto at Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy. Hersiana debuted at Festivali i Këngës in 2006 where she won the first prize from the 'Newcomers' category and got the right to participate at Festivali i Këngës in the 'Big' category. Later she took part at Festivali i Këngës in 2010, 2011 & 2012. Her best result was in 2012 where she finished third with the same composer. Praised for her flawless vocal performance, she is considered one of the best live performers in the country in the recent years. Hersiana won this years Festivali i Këngës and will represent Albania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with her song Zemërimi i një nate. Read more on Last.fm.
