Hello Conductor is a newly emerging progressive rock band native to Richmond, Virginia. In an area so readily recognizable for its metal and hardcore punk music, they have worked hard to break out of the scene and create a unique sound that is their own. The band was founded by songwriter and guitarist, Daniel Ryder, in 2003 as a solo project. He would spend countless hours writing songs for his own enjoyment, never knowing whether they would ever be heard by others. It wasn't until January 2009 that Daniel wanted to turn his music into a full composition. Drummer, Derek Chamberlin was the first to join. Having not been in a band for a few years, he decided it was finally time for a change and began seeking out others to play with. The diverse sound and technical style drew in his attention and he realized he couldn't turn his back on it. The rest was history. Second to join and completing the line up is Sam Isaacs, former bass player of Sana Rouge. The toughest part of course was finding that last piece to the puzzle; the singer. After trying out one singer after another, the mission began to seem endless. It wasn't until meeting Oliver Bierman, formerly of Richmond band Reasons that they finally felt complete. Hello Conductor is on a mission to spread their sound through out the music industry. Update! Since October 2009 Hello Conductor has since broken up and re launched a new project called Arms To Bear.
