Hausmeister

Hausmeister is Christian Przygodda, 34 years old and in Bremen/Deutschland based. He tries to make a living by the painting of movie posters and portraits. and sometimes he makes a living by it. Hausmeister is the kind of person you better leave alone, you better don't bother with anything. Hasumeister is a recluse, a crank, a handicraftman. To meet your match in yourself -- Hausmeister knows where best: at home, sit and stare at your walls, where no one disturbs you. Hausmeister's music is straight song based. and it excels by a delightful melodics. You're entering a loop-free zone. If your ears catch one, be sure it's handplayed. Mostly with 'conventional' instruments. Yes, Hausmeister has a sampler, but he uses it solely for soundsynthesis. A gear to create tiny particles, then processed for perfect fit in the whole framework. The first release of Hausmeister is somekind of homegrown compost -- artificial fertilized somewhere between 1970 and 1985. You'll discover lots of old, lots of new and if you listen sharp even lots from amongst your own biography. - Hausmeister [Karaoke Kalk 2000] - Jiller [7"] [Esel 2001] - Unser (Ours) [Karaoke Kalk 2001] - Weiter [Karaoke Kalk 2002] - Solo [Esel 2003] - Look At Me Now [Sopot Records 2004] - WATER-WASSER [Plop 2007] Water-Wasser is the sixth full-length release from Christian Przygodda (aka Hausmeister), his newest album in three years The music of Water-Wasser is influenced by European classic, electronic music, folk and progressive rock, just as much as jazz, using various raw acoustic instruments, all played by Przygodda himself. The basic idea of composition is similar to classic symphonics, with the return of themes and their variations -- but Hausmeister evokes those themes with diverse sound-sources. The whole album is drawn from the creative melting-pot of musical possibilities. As with the element water, the transcendent is the constant. Hausmeister is interested in various possibilities and ways to enter different floors of this musical building, enjoying all the different angles and sights. This strongly refers to the works of the French comic artist Moebius (The Hermetic Garage) or of writer Lars Gustaffson (The Third Rochade of Bernhard Foy). The album cover painting is also by Christian which shows an additional aspect of his interdisciplinary approach within the album. Water-Wasser contains very pleasant and composed music which will be appealing to a wide audience. For fans of rock, electronic music, jazz, classical music, and more Read more on Last.fm.
