Hannelore Bedert is a singer-songwriter from Deerlijk, Belgium who sings in Dutch. In 2007 she graduated at Studio Herman Teirlinck. She released an EP called Janker in 2006, and her first full-cd, which is titled Wat Als ("What If"), was released on 19 September 2008. The album contains 13 songs, among which are new versions of all the songs of the EP. Hannelore has already won several prizes, such as the Nederpopprijs 2007 and the Nekka-wedstrijd 2007 (a competition for 'kleinkunst' artists). Her victory in the Nekka-wedstrijd gave Hannelore the opportunity to perform at the 2008 edition of the popular Nekka Nacht, which brought her to the attention of a larger audience. The live version of the song Zonder Woorden, which was performed at Nekka as a duet between Bart Peeters and Hannelore, appeared on Bart Peeters' third solo album De Hemel in het Klad. Before her decision to perform as a solo artist, Hannelore sang in the band Rheen, in English. As a solo artist Hannelore sings in AN (standard Dutch) as well as in West Flemish dialect and 'Deerlijks'. In 2011 she came with a second album called "Uitgewist". This album includes the singles "In uw buurt" and "Loeihard". She still records in Dutch and in her local dialect. In 2013 her third album "Iets dat niet komt" appeared, including "Zoals u", "Balans" and "Radiostilte", which came with Hannelore's first music-clip ever.
