glissade creates a soundtrack to a dreamy and distorted version of reality by combining shoegaze inspired guitars & textural waves of sound. the tracks are both meditative and dramatic with melodies melting into a soothing and hypnotic ocean of atmospheric noise. History: Glissade began in 2002 out of a love for psychedelic & shoegaze music but a lack of local or touring psych bands coming through NC. During this time the early workings for the 1st material took form. Guitarist Hodge & bassist Chris dedicated most of their time in 2003 to the band and finding members to fill out the line up. At the end of 2003 Hodge & Chris had a demo of 6 songs recordedBy 2004 they were playing regular shows & were working on their 1st release as a 5 piece band the result being "Stares Like Starlites" EP.
