There are several bands using the name Geronimo; 1)From East Los Angeles, California United States. Experimental hardcore/noise act on Three One G; Ruiz plays with Beck till the "Zankow zealot" gets signed sans band. Ruiz forms Sleestak, a quartet with Francoso, Gandara and Nelson (Man Is The Bastard + The Bastard Noise). Sleetsak releases two full length CDs then dissolves in the late 90's whenRuiz joins Slowrider till its demise in '04 (which included an unmasked member of Brujeria as well as Oiler/Sarah Spoden vet Gomez). Geronimo reunites Francoso/Nelson/Ruiz in '05 with the vision of a powerful minimalist sound for the purpose of a short Japanese tour. Upon return Geronimo works to complete the 2007 self-titled Three One G session that features vocals from Sandor GF, Pete Majors (both from now defunct Harassor) and David Yow (Jesus Lizard, Qui) accompanied by a peculiar hodgepodge of homemade trogotronic.com instruments. Good luck finding something similar to reference for the sake of "journalism" or sales points. 2)From Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada GERONIMO. Since the prescribed and timely ending of their Canadian post-punk indie band Despistado (Jade Tree), vocalist Dagan Harding and primary song writer Leif Thorseth took a mere 6months apart before re-gathering themselves to seek un-treaded rock n roll waters once again. Geronimo hasn't so much as manifest from the ashes of despistado, but moreover, has blown those ashes into the water. Since the bands inception only 15 short months ago, Garret Matheis, Henry Brass, Leif Thorseth, and Dagan Harding have shared the stage with acts such as Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Minus the Bear, The Constantines, Tapes n' Tapes, North of America, and Ghosts of modern man, just to name a few. In early August 2006, Geronimo self-released their debut EP, ENLIGHTENMENT IN A SMALL TOWN, to co-incide with their first western Canadian tour. This 6 song debut EP album is an antidote to everyday living in the WEST. A testament to internal freedom, peace, love, smarts and determination. An HONEST bible. Geronimo is generous; with energy, excitement, musicianship and provocation they tell their story of Enlightenment In a Small Town. Only to be followed by a longer.. and even more compelling narrative. 3) See Gerônimo 4) A danish Rapcore band from the late 90's 5) A danish crossover band from the late 80's 6) A presumably German underground band from the late 60's. Their one hit single was 'Heya Heya Heya', a tribal blues song with piercing guitar work. 7)A finnish rock group from the mid 90´s. Band came from Lahti and released one single in 1994. Leader of the band was Marko Haavisto, a great songwriter who later put The Poutahaukat together. 8) A new york hardcore band, demo released in 2014 Read more on Last.fm.
