70s HitsA Better 70s Hits Station playing the best in Groovy 70s AM Classic Radio Hits. Pop dominates this channel.
Frank Jordan, the band, was formed in 1994 by a group of high school friends from Carmichael, CA. This was their first band, Devin was turned on to drums by his older brother and started playing when he was 10 years old, Mike taught Matt how to play bass and then taught himself how to sing. For nearly 10 years Frank Jordan played throughout the country, performing over 500 shows in the last three years of their touring existence. Hundreds of close friends were made in some of most memorable experiences the members of the band will ever collect. Police, basketballs, the moving studio, Mexico, hot sauce Clif-Bars, Boston recording sessions, hell-fire, jail, drum & bass, Jersey party payment, mommy said - daddy went, the drive to Vermont, New Mexico Mushyboom, The extended stay in El Paso, Eggs @ Stubbs, that first NY trip, Matt's outfit at Pat's in the Flats, Wham!, the list goes on and on, and on... During the summer of 2004, while in Athens Ohio, Frank Jordan destroyed a Ford Econoline which carried them around the country for nearly three years. Also during that stay in Athens, Frank Jordan recorded an album which was released post-mortum as a limited LP called "Ohio". These days Frank Jordan exists as a pleasant memory for the three dudes in the band, and their faithful co-pilot. Destruction of fantasy. Since the breakup Devin has moved onto the band Sex Rat with Zippy from Bargain Music. Mike is still writing and recording music with the ex-drummer of The Toasters in NYC. Hopefully you'll enjoy the music Frank Jordan made, thanks to everyone who helped throughout the years. Read more on Last.fm.
