This band from Madrid was formed in 2002. Fortune Tellers is made up of Sergio Gil who plays guitar and perfoms the vocals, Tomás Perez on bass, and Juan Antonio Carmona drums and Javi Opla keyboards. It is your standard four-piece but are powering a music scene that is dance friendly and accessible to all ears. The Band has their own style including vintage and retro sounds.The music played is inspired by Humble Pie, The Who, Traffic, Kula Shaker, Supergrass & Ocean Colour Scene, with remarcable 60's and other bands of the so-called Brit-Pop genre. They played several gigs in Madrid and has become very popular with a youth that is disillusioned with current music. They have also participated in major National Festivals as Euro Ye-Ye and Purple Weekend. Their 1st work "Were Rigth" an 8 tracks EP was produced by Fernando Pardo (Sex Museum) and published by Animal Records. After that, they relised a Single "Take me Back" which included video. They were part of compilation albums edited by Wild Thing Records including, THE KIDS ARE ALL WILD (WTR004) and THE KIDS ARE ALL WILD, Vol. 2 (WTR015) celebrating the12th y 14th Wild Thing Bar's aniversary, a míthycal madridlean bar.
