Ezekiel Ox is a musician from Melbourne, Australia, with a reputation for enthusiastic, energetic performances and strong politically-charged lyrics. He fronted the band Full Scale from 1998-2005; after their break-up he formed Mammal with Pete Williamson, Nick Adams and Zane Rosanoski. Mammal disbanded in October 2009. In late 2009 he took part in a Full Scale reunion of sorts with Tristan Ross (guitar), Ben Brennan (bass) and Matt Crute (drums). This new incarnation of the band changed their name to Full Scale Revolution in 2010, performing several successful small-scale tours of Australia, before disbanding again on September 6 2010. Full Scale Revolution reformed again with a different lineup in 2016. Ox is currently active with several projects: 1.Over-reactor, a collaboration with former Dukes of Windsor drummer Cory Blight). They have written and recorded a double album entitled "Lose Your Delusion" entirely by themselves. The first volume was released for free download on August 9th 2010, with volume two following later in the year, and a single CD version compiling the best tracks released in 2011. The band opened for Cog in Sydney and Brisbane on their "Sound of Three" tour and have performed other live shows around Australia. A second album, "Mouth of the Ghetto", was released in 2012. Though the band have been relatively quiet in recent years, in mid-2016 they returned to the live stage, previewing songs from their upcoming third album. 2. Superheist. In June 2016, Australian nu-metal band Superheist announced their reunion, with a new album, "Ghosts of the Social Dead", to be released later in the year. After much speculation, with the release of the single "Hands Up High" in August, Ox was revealed to be the new singer of the band. 3. Full Scale Revolution. Full Scale Revolution reformed again in 2016 to celebrate the release of a "lost" song, with a new lineup featuring the return of Jimmy Tee on guitar, and Chris Webber (drums) and Leigh Miller (bass). A short tour in February was dubbed the "Fuck Sony" tour, and Ox has stated the group may release new material in the future. 4. Solo work under his own name. Ox's first release was the "Winter in Suburbia" EP (2005). This EP is mostly acoustic folk/country, a style which Ox would later develop further with The Ox and The Fury (indeed, one of the songs was later re-recorded by The Fury). He occasionally performed in his hometown of Melbourne in this format, with his sets typically consisting of Fury songs, other originals, and some covers. In more recent performances, Ox has incorporated samples and loops to develop a more hip-hop oriented style. 2016 saw the release of "My Name", returning to a more straightforward rock style. This project currently features Drew Goddard (guitar, Karnivool]), Sarox Martin (bass, Cloud City), and Steven Smith (drums). Other projects include: A country/folk band The Ox and The Fury (formerly Ezekiel Ox and The Fury), with Ox on lead vocals and acoustic guitar. Formed in 2008, the lineup of the band has now stabilised and now features Lucius Borich from Cog on drums, as well as Dom Italiano on lead guitar and Ben Brennan on bass guitar. They released their first album "Guitars Die in Hot Cars" in early 2010. A second release was planned, but has not yet eventuated, and the band have been mostly inactive since 2012. The Nerve, a hard rock band featuring Ox on vocals alongside guitarist Glenn Proudfoot, bassist Davarj Thomas (ex-Pre-shrunk and drummer Lucius Borich. Their album "Audiodacity" was released in 2013. Smash Nova, a collaboration with former Full Scale Deflection bandmate and well-respected music producer Forrester Savell.
