In August 2005, Ektor released his first album titled A Un Paso del Amor. The album spawned a hit single titled "Te Voy a Amar" that was used in a soap opera from Univision. Ektor is currently working with producers Luny Tunes for the recording of his second album. The famous duo of producers expressed interest in working with him during an interview in Puerto Rican TV show Anda Pa'l Cara which prompted each party to initiate conversations for it to happen.
