(Earnest Woodall, Born July, 24 1959) is a American Composer. Born in Bayshore ,New York Long and Raised in Suburban Long Island took up guitar at the age of 10 inspired by Rock,Blues and Jazz Players of the day. A local teacher Peter Rogine introduced him to the music of Philip Glass, Steve Reich, John Adams and other artists as well as Miles Davis John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, and Joe Pass and The Coming of age music of Progressive Rock like Pink Floyd, Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Yes. Which sparked a life-long love of Modern-Classical Music, Progressive Rock and Jazz. Earnest Woodall son attended Five Towns College of Music and Berklee School of Music later moving into the local Music scene of the New York Tri-State area with a wide variety of bandleaders and musicians Making himself an artist who can play more than one styles of music with emotion and virtuosity ,rare to find, and soon make Zephrywood Music in 2004 Time to Think. And has composed many music in Independent films from 1992-present.
