The more accurate rendition of the band's name is Do-Ré-Mi rather than Do Re Mi or Do-Re-Mi. Do-Ré-Mi were formed in Sydney, Australia in 1981. They released two independent 12 inch EPs, Standing On Wires (1982) and The Waiting Room (1983). A revised version of a track on that second EP, Man Overboard, was a hit in 1985. It was included on their debut album Domestic Harmony, released on Virgin in 1985. Their second album was The Happiest Place in Town (1988). They disbanded at the end of 1988. Vocalist Deborah Conway launched her solo debut String of Pearls in 1991 has continued to perform and record since then. Read more on Last.fm.
