Digital Bled

Digital Bled is an unlikely fusion of North African, Central European and Indian influenced electronica, comprising of Parisian front man DJ Pedro (real name Joao Pedro Veloso Rodrigues, originally from Portugal) and members of the Orchestre Nationale de Barbè³® Arabian melodies deep from the Middle East sit side by side with the Brazilian sax of Glaucus Linx (who plays with Salif Keita), hip hop beats, dub and global rhythms. A mixture of street sounds with traditional sounds of Southern countries best describes their new release 'Caravana'. Each selection on the 13-track album comprises of hip-hop tempos with a host of guest musicians and DJ's from Paris who have North African, Brazilian and Guadeloupean origins. 'Caravana' is an incitement to a world dancefloor frenzy. The ingredients are a mixture of hip-hop and trip-hop tempos, with funk and dub atmospheres and a host of guest musicians and DJ's from Paris who have a wide variety of origins. Read more on Last.fm.
