Dewey Balfa (born near Mamou, Louisiana, March 20, 1927 – June 17, 1992) was an American Cajun fiddler and singer who contributed significantly to the popularity of Cajun music. D.L. Menard (Doris Leon Menard, Erath, Louisiana, April 14, 1932 – July 27, 2017) was a notable American Cajun singer, guitarist, songwriter, performer. He was called the "Cajun Hank Williams." Marc Savoy (born near Eunice, Louisiana, United States, October 1, 1940) is an American Cajun accordionist, fiddler and builder of the Cajun accordion.
