“Deems” is the first project name from Nadim Najm Fares. Born in Egypt in 1981, Nadim grew up in a musical family which encouraged him greatly and eventually led to him getting hooked the sounds of the Pet Shop Boys, 666, Paul Van Dyk, Coast 2 Coast, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, John Askew, Ronski Speed, Solarstone and Aly & Fila. At nineteen he took up djing, mixing uplifting trance with house and cool progressive vibes. By the age of 22 he also decided to start composing. Deems’s debut track “Tears of Hope” started when Fila, from Aly & Fila was so impressed by the melody of that track that he immediately suggested remixing it. Upon completing this remix Fila sent it to John Askew who subsequently signed it to Discover. Months later, this package is complete with the addition of a Greg Downey remix and is set to be released on Discover Digital within the next few weeks. Read more on Last.fm.
